2025 IADS annual meeting was held in Ningbo

On November 19, the 2025 Annual Conference of the Intelligent New Energy Vehicle All Domains Safety Association (IADS) and the Founding Ceremony of the Control Safety and Wellness Safety Technical Committees were held in Ningbo. The event was attended by leaders including Zhou Yulin, Chairman of IADS; Yang Shichun, Executive Chairman of IADS; and Wang Rui, Secretary-General of IADS, along with over 70 experts, scholars, and corporate representatives from organizations such as BSI (British Standards Institution), Beihang University, Geely Auto, SAIC-GM-Wuling, BYD, and Xiaomi Auto.

At the annual conference, Zhou Yulin noted that the global automotive industry is undergoing a profound transformation toward intelligence and new energy, and while China’s new energy vehicle sector has achieved remarkable progress, it now faces new challenges in all-domain safety. The IADS will actively engage in the formulation of international standards and regulations, accelerate collaboration with global institutions, and jointly promote the safe and sustainable development of the worldwide automotive industry.

Zhou Yulin presented the Letter of Appointment as Chief Expert of the IADS Academic Committee to Academician Li Jun of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and awarded Certificates of Council Membership to SAIC-GM-Wuling, BYD, and Xiaomi Auto.

On behalf of China Automotive Engineering Research Institute Co., Ltd. (CAERI) and IADS, Wang Rui signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Tatiana Schmollack-Tarasova, Director and General Manager of BSI Greater China. Tatiana Schmollack-Tarasova delivered a keynote speech titled "International Collaboration of Intelligent New Energy Vehicle Standards."
