Public Consultation Notice on Four IADS Standards
To All Relevant Global Enterprises and Institutions:
The Intelligent New Energy Vehicle All Domains Safety Association (IADS) is a Hong Kong-based international non-profit standards organization established in 2024 by leading global automotive manufacturers and research institutions. IADS is committed to developing international safety standards covering five core domains of intelligent new energy vehicles: driving safety, intrinsic safety, control safety, interaction safety, and wellness safety.
Four IADS group standards have completed their drafting phase and are now open for public consultation:
Test and Assessment Methods for Automotive Reclined Seat Occupant Protection in Frontal Impacts(WD-0001-20XX)
Technical Requirements and Test Methods for Calibration of AC-MPDB Aluminum Honeycomb in Vehicle Crash Testing(WD-0002-20XX)
Verification Methods and Technical Requirements for Human Finite Element Models in Virtual Crash Assessment(WD-0003-20XX)
Technical Requirements and Test Methods for Calibration of AC-MDB Aluminum Honeycomb in Vehicle Crash Testing(WD-0004-202XX)
To ensure the scientific rigor, applicability, and global recognition of these standards, we invite stakeholders worldwide to submit feedback. Details are as follows:
Consultation Scope
All relevant parties including OEMs, component suppliers, testing laboratories, research institutes, and universities are encouraged to provide comments on technical specifications, test procedures, application scenarios, and other related content.
Submission Requirements
Please complete the IADS Standards Feedback Form and submit it to the IADS Secretariat by 19 August 2026.
